OUR STORY
Overlooking the serene countryside that makes up southern Napa Valley, Valley Gate Vineyards lies at the southern tip of Napa Valley.
Confident that the gently sloping terrain and moderate climate would produce a superior grape crop, several grazing land acres were converted to vineyards in the 1980s. The success of the initial harvest inspired the land’s owner to continue planting vines on the property and over time the majority of the acreage was dedicated to growing grapes.
Acres of Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet grapevines now blanket the countryside that is Valley Gate Vineyards.
